Autumn Forest Lamp is a medium-sized gradient lamp inspired by the vibrant fall forests in Northern Norway.
The lamp was designed and handmade in Northern Norway, out of locally sourced leftover mohair silk yarn. The material gives it soft glow and texture, beautiful colors, as well as natural fire-resistance.
This lamp showcases the technique of gradient painting in crochet, by combining strands of different colors. The design is original and limited to this model.
The diameter of the lamp is 26 cm at the widest point.
This lamp /lampshade took more than 6 hrs of labor + many more for design, selection and acquisition of materials.
The lamp is currently fit over an black textile cable E14 light source with a European plug, but it can also be shipped as a lampshade only to fit over existing generic lamps (fittings and instructions provided).
