The Bentsjord Mountain Ceiling Lamp is inspired by the faces of the Bentsjordtinden in Northern Norway, watching over the maker's home.
Two strands of different shades of leftover mohair, locally sourced, were combined in eacg row to paint the gradient colors of the mountain in late fall, just as the snow starts to crown on its peak.
The material ensures gorgeous, colorful, soft light diffusion, as well as inherent fire-resistance properties.
The lamp shade can easily be fit over an existing E27 light fixture (all fittings provided), or it can be delivered as a readily installed lamp.
The diameter of the lamp shade is ~45 cm at the widest point.
