Blue Wave is a crochet lampshade handcrafted in Norway. It is incredibly soft, airy, and plushy.
The crochet design is parabolic, evoking bulging waves in the middle of the ocean. As the waves, the perspective completely changes the appearance.
The yarn is in all the colors of the Norwegian sea: aqua, navy, teal, cerulean. As the Norwegian sea, the color of the shade changes depending on the sun.
When turned on, the light it casts is lightly blue-tinted.
The diameter of the lamp shade is 43 cm or 17 inches.
MATERIAL: Lang Yarns Orion Superwash Merino Extrafine yarn (88% virgin merino wool, 12% polyamide; sourced at the local Tromsø second-hand shop Rebell), stainless steel, polyamide shrinking tube
